Jolly Sailor Inn - The Oldest Pub In Looe - Family Run And Full Of Charm And Character

My stay was brilliant in our two weeks road trip. I asked for king room with a sofa overlooking the quay, a big comfy bed, for example and they kindly provided it. The location was absolutely perfect - only a short distance to everywhere I wanted to go.

The staff are pleasant as well as the owner. The units are spotless, tidy with bath and shower.

Cute staff, cozy atmosphere, with the room being very clean and stocked with refreshments including tea, coffee, and bottled water, while also offering convenient luggage storage and a nice selection of breakfast options.

Breakfast options were excellent, comparable to high-end hotels. The room offered an amazing view with a comfortable four-poster bed.

A great coastal escape

We picked this place for a spontaneous getaway and wow, what a find! Garry and Jill were super cute. The room was cozy with a fab view, and that four-poster bed was a treat. Enjoyed some hearty brekkie and killer local beers in the bar. Parking was a bit of a puzzle though.

Hosts were cute, and the four-poster bed in the top-floor room added a touch of luxury. Breakfast featured perfectly cooked local produce, including delicious sourdough bread. A shanty band provided unexpected entertainment one evening.

A Perfect Pub Experience!

Our favorite drink was the unique Tiki Fire rum! Pro tip, use the local bus service to explore Looe, as parking is quite limited.

The hosts are super friendly and. Breakfast is defo amazing, like the best full english i've had. The pub has a cool vibe, lots of activities like shanty bands and quizzes. Rooms are comfy and really clean, everything u need for a good stay. Location is spot on, just a short walk to the harbour, so easy to get around town.

the only downside was the seagulls making noise at night, and the emergency light in the room was a bit too bright.

The welcome we received was like wrapping ourselves in a cozy blanket of warmth. Our King Room was a good haven, beautifully decorated with a supremely comfy bed and a super clean bathroom. Breakfast was a feast, with locally sourced delights including mouthwatering butcher's bacon that left us craving more!

Just a fitting option for a short break in Looe with good price value. Gary and Zoe welcomed us and made our stay enjoyable. Consider arriving early for better parking options.

The King Room offers a comfy stay with its clean setup and overall well-maintained decor. The proximity to local attractions ensures easy access to the best spots without hassle.

Free parking is a bit scarce around the hotel, which can be a hassle if you want to find a good spot quickly. The bathroom plumbing can be quite loud, possibly disturbing your peace, particularly if adjoining rooms have their water running. While the breakfast is solid, a specific choice for egg preparations would enhance the experience, alongside a more generous tea and coffee supply.

Can recommend for a weekend outing

Fine view, comfortable room, with a good breakfast that includes a variety of options, leaving us impressed by the quality comparable to top hotels, and the off-site car park made our stay convenient.

What a lovely stay! The cozy atmosphere and characterful details made it so special. The freshly cooked breakfast was great. Can't get over the amazing hogs fingers! I'd definitely come back.
